Narragansett

Ted has one of the closest families I’ve ever met.

They all live fairly close and visit each other fairly often. Whether you’re the one visiting or the one being visited, their get togethers are the epitome of a good time.

When he and his siblings decided to go to the beach for a week and opted to include me, I couldn’t have been more excited- both for the long needed relaxation but also for the company.

The house his sister found was at least 50 years old,

sat on 2 acres,

and was a five minute walk from the beach.

The first two days we were there it rained.

On the day it poured so we went bowling. I’ve never played so well- in fact I won a game!

On the day it drizzled we played games on the dining room table until we couldn’t stand it anymore and then broke free to play lawn games.

The food was delicious whether eaten at home off the grill

(which included a birthday)

or in one of the restaurants we fell in love with.

(Crazy Burger)

(Champlin’s)

(Ice Cream Counter under Champlin’s)

The thing that made the trip? The company- of course.

It’s becoming an annual event- we’re already planning next year…
